William M. "Mike" Parker

William Micheal Parker, age 73, passed away at home on March 22, 2026, with his family by his side. Born on July 8, 1952, Mike was a son of the late W.W. and Christine Parker and a lifelong resident of Conyers. He graduated from Rockdale County High School, class of 1970 and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Growing up with his 12 brothers and sisters on the family dairy farm taught important life lessons and provided good stories and memories he often enjoyed recounting.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Terry, Randy, Eddie and Alvin Parker. Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Sherlyn; daughters, Katie Parker Andrews, Amanda Parker; brothers and sisters, Frances Walker (Bill), Lamar Parker, Diann Johnston (Leon), Madren King, Anthony Parker, Barry Parker (Nancy), Sheila Taylor; Debbie Perkins (Paul); several grandchildren; step-sons, Stan Barfield (Fiona), Robert Barfield; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Philadelphia Baptist Cemetery, 6910 S. Goddard Road, Lithonia. Anthony Parker, Barry Parker, Stan Barfield, Scott Faircloth, Cody Faircloth and Caleb Faircloth will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
