"Bill" Manning, age 85, of Ellenwood, died Sunday, March 26, 2017. Born in Atlanta, William served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Korean War. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He also loved his pets. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Ethel Barfield Manning; daughter, Nancy Ann Parker and her husband, Barry, of Stockbridge; son, Gary Manning and his wife, Edythe, of Forest Park; sister, Annie Mae Little of Social Circle; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock Wednesday, March 29, at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 722 Conley Road, Forest Park, GA 30297 with Rev. Ernie Forrester officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29 from noon until 1 o'clock at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
