William retired from Rich's where he was a Retail Salesperson. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with his family. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Claude and Mary Lou Farr; brother, Alvin Farr; and sisters, Catherine Johnson, Hazel Farr, Mae Farr and Sandra Edmondson. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Francine Farr; daughter, Sarah Henderson and her husband, Tyson, of Conyers; son, William "Bill" Claude Farr, Jr. of Conyers; brother, Donald Farr of Newnan; grandchildren, Logan Henderson, Lexas Henderson, Lauren Henderson, Aubree Henderson, Skye Farr, and Arden Crawford Farr; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Thursday, January 21, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Chupp officiating. The family will receive friends 5 - 7 Wednesday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for final expenses.
