Walter Phillip King, age 65, of Social Circle, died March 2, 2018. Phillip was an artist who loved to draw and paint and loved his cat named Tiger. He enjoyed being outdoors and bird watching. Preceding in death were his parents, Walter Lee and Clara Faye King, and his brother, Edward S. King. Surviving are his loving Aunt Barbara King Carter, two nephews, and many cousins who will miss him. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, March 4, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Social Circle, with Rev. Leah Cunningham officiating. Entombment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens, Snellville. No flowers accepted. The family requests contributions made in Phillip's memory to the National Autism Association or Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
