Brewster, age 89, of Lithonia died Sunday, June 3, 2018. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marco and Leora Grow, she retired from DeKalb Federal Savings and Loan in Decatur. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gaines Brewster; and daughter, Deborah Pate. Surviving are daughter, Kathryn Harber and her husband, Eddie, of Oxford; granddaughter, Angie Harber; grandsons, Marc Harber, Dennis Pate, Kevin Pate and his wife, Dana; great-granddaughters, Emerson Pate, Jenifer Thrasher and her husband, Marty, Michelle Thompson and her husband, Paul; sister-in-law, Roma Grow of Smyrna, TN; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 4 o'clock, Saturday, June 9, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Pastor Deanne Lynch and Rev. Mike Wadley officiating.
