Obituary

Mary F. 'Tina' Robinson Snowden, age 80, of Conyers, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Born in Lithonia, Georgia to John L. and Laura Robinson, she was a graduate of Lithonia High School, class of 1956 and retired from AT&T as an accountant after 40 years of service. Tina grew up attending Turner Hill Baptist Church and in her later years attended North Rockdale Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping; playing Bingo; going to the casino; was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan; and traveling (she was always ready to go at a moment's notice). Tina devoted a lot of volunteer hours to the Telephone Pioneers, helping out at the Atlanta Falcon games, car shows, craft shows, charity golf tournaments, and really enjoyed fellowshipping with other volunteers at these events. But most of all her family was first in her life, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, always taking care of her family. Tina had a strong work ethic and was from the generation that took pride in whatever they did. This included her baking, her pound cakes and "Blue Willow" squares were her family's favorites.. She is preceded in death by her parents, John L. Robinson and Laura Robinson Ammons. Surviving are her daughters, Tara R. Moon and her husband, Bobby, of Conyers, Traci R Walden and her husband, Mike, of Covington, and Lori McClure and her husband, Floyd, of Conyers; grandchildren, Billy and Kali Johnson, Crystal Maddox, Cody Moon, Garrett and Leyland Walden; and nine great grandchildren. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Oaks at Ashton Hills for the loving care shown to their mother. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Friday, July 12, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Turner Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Thursday evening at Henry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tina's memory to the Ronald McDonald House, 795 Gatewood RD NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.
