David Timothy Goddard, age 65, of Lithonia, died Tuesday, September 17. He enjoyed hunting, working in his yard where he used his creativity to build wells, ponds, and other projects, and spending time with his family. Tim was a 1973 graduate of Lithonia High School, delivered milk for Flav-O-Rich Dairies for 21 years, delivered supplies for H.D. Supplies for 11 1/2 years, and for Southern Pipe for 5 years. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, David and Elizabeth Goddard, and his brother, Arnold Goddard. A thoughtful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, he is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Vicky Goddard; sons, Jason Patton of Lithonia, and Shane Goddard and his wife, Janet, of Dennison, Texas; daughter, Erin Zunun and her husband, Axel, of Lawrenceville; sister, Rhonda Cheek and her husband, John, of Snellville; six grandchildren, Gregory, Destiny, J.T., Jasmine, Cheyenne, and Caitlynn; great-granddaughter, Adalyn; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Friday, September 20, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin and Rev. Nelson Goddard officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8, Thursday at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
