Tommy Oglesby, age 75, of Auburn, Georgia, died on December 1, 2023. Born in Atlanta, GA, on August 21, 1948, Tommy was a professional truck driver retiring from Colonial Cartage Corp. earlier this year. PawPaw, his favorite title of all, was one he wore proudly. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Gail Flowers Oglesby; sons and daughters-in-law, David Griswell of Hartwell, GA, Tommy Oglesby of Dawsonville, GA, Troy & Cindy Holtzclaw of Auburn, GA, Jamie & Summer Holtzclaw of Canon, GA, Cindy Griswell of Monroe, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, John & Joan Oglesby of Tignall, GA, Raymond Oglesby of Louisiana; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service to honor Tommy's Life will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, December 9, 2023, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia, with Pastor Larry Segars officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home, from Noon -1 PM.
