Susan Lee Kirby, age 68, of Monticello, Georgia, died May 19, 2024. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Harry L. Baker and Janie Smith Baker, Susan spent her career as a cashier in the retail industry where she brightened the day of countless customers. Her biggest joy in life was her family, especially her grandkids, who meant the world to her. Susan found a church home at Christ Community Church in Forsyth where she attended. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harry, Tommy, Willie; and sister, Janie. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Chrissy & William Few; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin & Ashley Kirby, Keith & Kayla Kirby, James Kirby, Marty Kirby, Jr.; brothers, John Baker, Jerry Baker; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members. A memorial service for Susan will be held at 12 o'clock, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Christ Community Church, 3400 Johnstonville Road, Forsyth, GA 31029. The family will receive friends from 11- 12 prior to the service.
