A former cafeteria worker for Henry County Schools, she enjoyed crafts, especially building bird houses, working in her flower and vegetable gardens, and spending time with her family. A loving and kind mother and wife, she cared deeply for her husband and all of her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of almost 50 years, Donnie Dobbs; daughters, Angie Darity and her husband, Ray, of Ellenwood, and Cassie Crawford and her husband, James, of Sherwood, AR; sons, Joey Dobbs and his wife Kristy of Jackson, and Stevie Dobbs and his wife, Tiffany, of McDonough; sisters, Misty Billings of San Fransisco, CA, and Sandra Gates and her husband, David, of Middleburg, FL; sister in law, Judy Dobbs; brothers, George Jakes of Jacksonville Beach, FL; grandchildren, Amanda Lee Parris, Dylan Dobbs, Blayne Dobbs, Josie Dobbs, Annie Dobbs, Maddie Dobbs, Hank Dobbs, McKensie Crawford, and James Crawford. A Remembrance Service will be held at Retro Church, 831 Pavilion Court, McDonough, GA 30253. The family invites you to join them for a celebration of the life of Susie at this location on Thursday, July 20th between 6 and 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
