Steven Lambert

Steven B. "Punkin" Lambert, age 65, of Lilburn, died July 29, 2014. He was born October 31, 1948, in Evansville, IN, to Kenneth and Jane Lambert. A graduate of Murray State University, he taught school at Murphy Candler Elem. School in Lithonia and later was a real estate appraiser. A loving husband, father, Pop "Punkin", and son, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margaret; daughters, Kathryn Lambert Emery of Arden, NC, and Ann Lambert Pennington of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; son, Grant Lambert of Canton, NC; mother, Jane Lambert of Evansville, IN; sisters, Kathy Small and Donna Koneska, both of Evansville, IN, Barbara Lucas of Dade City, FL; 4 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3 o'clock, Friday, August 1, 2014, at the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection with Rev. Leigh Jones officiating, with a reception afterward. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
