Stephen J. Pavlidis, known to his friends as "Pavy" age 65, died May 29, 2018. A native of Atlanta, he graduated from Saint Pius X Catholic High School on Johnson Road. In his life Pavy explored a variety of careers including being a Mechanical Draftsman, a Flooring Installer, a Motorcycle Shop Entrepreneur and finally an Author, who not only cruised and sailed the high seas, but lived aboard various boats as he pursued this dream and his writing career. Starting in the Exuma Cays he wrote guides about the fascinating destinations he had visited. The many quintessential Cruising Guides he has written still stand alone and cover areas from the Bahamas to Trinidad and Tobago, including parts of Central America. Pavy was a former member of the Nightriders MC and then a former member of the Outlaws MC. He was also a brother and a friend to many people in the motorcycle community, as well as his fellow travelers of the high seas and the publishing community. He will be forever remembered and missed.
