A memorial service for S/Sgt Daniel Bryan Burton, U.S. Army retired, age 39, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, will be held 12 o'clock, noon, Thursday, October 27, 2022, with military honors, at Glen Haven Baptist Church, McDonough, with Rev. Brady Howard and Rev. Warren Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 o'clock until service time at the church. Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Lynn Burton. Surviving are his daughters, Addisyn Brooke Burton, Emalynn Brooke Burton and Irelynne Brooke Burton, and their mother Amy Burton; father, Jud Burton of Stone Mountain; sister, Angela Skelton and her husband, John, of Jackson, GA; nephew, Landon Skelton; and niece, Hailey Skelton. Daniel Served his country honorably with tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and was a recipient of many decorations, medals, badges, citations, and campaign ribbons.
