Service: 2 o'clock, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 5-8 Tuesday Evening Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Sandra Stewart "Nana" Clay, age 70, of Ellijay, formerly of Lithonia, died Saturday, April 14, 2018. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she stayed busy with her many interests: baking, flower gardening, crafts, her cats, shopping in small cute towns, watching her soaps, drinking coffee, and playing Yahtzee. But her special interests were spending time at her church and playing with her grandkids and great-grand babies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Clay; parents, Margaret and Clyde Stewart; and brother Donnie Stewart. Surviving are her husband, Joe Dills of Ellijay; daughters, Candi Padgett and husband, Frederick, of Ellijay, Sissy Lane and husband, Woody, of Dawsonville, and Vickie Morris and husband, Steve, of Locust Grove; grandkids, Keith Rozier and wife, Jenna; Nicole Morgan and husband, Josh Baggett; Steven Morris, Curtis Ward, Julie Strickland, Cameron Ward and wife, Jasmine; Zackary Lane, Haley Morris, Chris Padgett and wife, Andrea; Joey Padgett and wife, Stephanie; Jeffrey Padgett; 15 great- grand babies; brother, Ronnie Stewart of Cedar Town; sister, Shirley Griffie and husband, Willie, of Temple; and special friend, Darlene Smelley. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, April 18, in the Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Stradley officiating. Interment will follow at the Lithonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
