Sandra Faye Chandler, age 76, of Loganville, died February 16, 2022. She grew up in Lithonia where she attended Murphy Chandler Elementary School and Lithonia High School. Sandra was a Baptist and often attended Community Baptist Church. She loved going to auctions, shopping, going out to eat but most of all she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Floyd Chandler; parents, Lula Pearl and James Ben Pye; sister, Imogene Pickens; brothers, Ray Pye and James Pye. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Conner and husband, Josh, of Eatoton, and Marie Chandler of Moultrie; sisters, Dorothy Jane Ricks of Conyers, Josephine Walker of Bethlehem, Lillian Holmes of Jasper and Ola Hawes of Conyers; brothers, Danny Pye and wife, Linda, of McDonough and Roy Pye and wife, Delores, of Newborn; grandchildren, Amber Conner, Aaron Conner, Kaden Johnson and Wyatt Johnson; nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, February 27, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Conner and Bro. L. C. Givens officiating. The entombment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
