Ruth Eilene Postell Scott, age 90, of Chamblee, died January 2, 2021. She was born in Marion, Ohio and retired from the I.R.S. after many years of service. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Flynn Scott; Son and daughter-in-law, Darrel and Ellen Scott; and brothers, Jack Postell and David Postell. Surviving are her daughter, Cathy Harbin and her husband, Lee, of Conyers; brother, Edward Postell and his wife, Mary, of Richmond, VA; sister, Corrine Pettinato of Chamblee, GA; sisters-in-law, Joan Postell of Menomnie, WI and Belinda Postell of Ocean Springs, MS; grandson, Frank Harbin and his wife, Sandy; and two great grandchildren. A graveside service was held 1 o'clock, Wednesday, January 6, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, with Pastor David Hardy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN, 38105-9959.
