Ruth Wade Parker, age 99, of Conyers, died February 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Parker; grandson, William Jesse Parker; and two brothers. Ruth retired from Georgia Federal Savings & Loan as a savings counselor. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Baldwin, and her husband, Quillian, of LaGrange; son, John Parker, of Conyers; sister, Sara Howard, of Snellville; grandchildren, John Andrew Parker, Jr., Charles Raymond Parker, James Burnette Parker, Asbury Quillian "Trey" Baldwin, III, Leila Ruth Baldwin, and Wade Thrasher Baldwin; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, February 28, at Lithonia First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Leon Matthews officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Lithonia First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 6, Lithonia, GA 30058 or the Methodist Children's Home.
