Roxanna Moore Wishon, age 86 of Conyers, died February 24, 2022. She was born and raised in Quitman, Georgia to Earl and Hattye Lewis Moore. Roxanna attended Valdosta State College and worked as a secretary for the Veterans Administration and the CDC for many years. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Conyers, was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking, and liked to travel. Roxanna was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Wishon; parents; and brother, Joe Terrell Moore. Surviving are daughters, Rhonda Schroeder and her husband, David, of Cumming and Melanie Bell of Covington; son, Ricky Hayes and his wife, Sandy, of Sharpsburg; six grandchildren, Parker Hayes, Drew Hayes, Devin Schroeder, Jeremy Jones and his wife, Ciara, Derek Jones, and Luke Hulsey and his wife, Brooke; five great grandchildren, Ansley Jones, Bethany Jones, Mason Jones, Kaelyn Jones and Lennox Hulsey. A memorial service will be held 4 o'clock, Saturday, March 5, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Stucke officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
