Roger Dale Flowers, age 75, of Winder, Georgia, died January 22, 2026. Born in Atlanta on June 2, 1950, he was one of five children born to the now late Robert & Mary Alma Flowers. Dale honorably served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and his service to his country was a source of lasting pride throughout his life. A truck driver by trade, Dale truly enjoyed his career and logged thousands of miles with Risinger Transportation until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn P. Flowers; son, Larry Flowers; siblings, Wayne Flowers, Elaine Hicks; and grandson, Robby Flowers.
Survivors include his daughter, Gina Flowers-Neel (Christopher); sons, Lester Flowers (Brandy), James "Jimmy" Flowers, Roger Flowers (Sandra); sister, Gail Oglesby; brother, Tommy Flowers; grandchildren, Gavin Neel, Ethan Flowers, Hudson Flowers, Kayla Flowers; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial graveside service with military honors will be held at Sodom Cemetery on Friday, February 6, at 2 o'clock.
