Robert 'Bobby' Dennis White, age 81, of Conyers, died March 2, 2022. He was born in Lithonia, to James and Evelyn Stewart White. Bobby had an engineering degree and worked as a radio and television repairman for many years. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed electronics; flying (acquired his private pilot's license); and working on radios. Bobby served his country honorably in the United States Army for three years. His hobbies were antique radios; electric train sets and he built his mother a pipe organ. Bobby was also a member of the Atlanta Theater Organ Society, which was part of the Save the Fox Campaign. He was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Carol White and his parents. Surviving are his sisters and their husbands, Ellen and Michael Whatley of Jefferson, GA and Alice and Larry Stephenson of Greenville, GA; uncle, John White of Lithonia; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Monday, March 7, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. The interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens with Miltitary Honors.
