Robert L. "Rabbi" Rowland, age 69, of Stockbridge, died June 12, 2019. He was born in Lithonia to Edgar and Hattie Rowland, graduated from Lithonia High School and retired form Stone Container Corporation as maintenance supervisor. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, cooking (especially Brunswick stew and frying catfish). Surviving are his daughter, Cindy Rowland Helmly and her husband, David of Senoia; son, Rusty Rowland and his wife Karen of Monticello; sister, Rachel Phillips and her husband,Leon of Maysville; brother, John Rowland of Eatonton; 3 Granddaughters, Crystal, Hope and Chelsey; 3 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. His memorial service will be held 1 o'clock, Tuesday, June 25, in the Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the 'Harley Davidson Ride for the March of Dimes.'
