Robert Samuel "Sam" Mitchell, age 84, of Social Circle, passed away August 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Essie Mitchell; brothers, William Mitchell and Harold Mitchell; sister, Betty Weese. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Oleta Marie Mitchell; son, Clyde Mitchell and wife Debra of Social Circle; daughters, Marie Hawley and husband Larry of Conyers, Sandra Parillo and husband Robert of Conyers; sister, Barbara Watson; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 3 o'clock Tuesday, August 18, at Social Circle United Methodist Church with Reverends Richard Noth and Kathy Morris officiating, and interment at Social Circle City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:30 Monday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Social Circle.
