Service: 10 o'clock, Friday, August 5, 2016 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 6 - 8 Thursday evening Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Robert Harold Baker, age 84, of Stone Mountain, died August 2, 2016. He was a 1950 graduate of Conyers High School. Robert served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, was a member and Deacon of Avondale Church of Christ, and owner of Decatur Hearing Aid Service. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he is preceded in death by his parents, Jordan and Myrtice Baker. Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Sarah Callihan Baker; daughters, Nancy Grosscup and her husband, Rich, of Loganville, Mary Fargason and her husband, Jeff, of Snellville; son, Jeffrey Baker and his wife, Mischelle, of Snellville; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A service will be held 10 o'clock, Friday, August 5, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Minister Eric Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 6 -8 at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
