Rennie Fulford, age 84 of Comer, formerly of Lithonia, sunset May 14, 2021. Sunrise December 18, 1936, in Lithonia to Herman Perry Mitchell and Dorothy Rennie Mitchell. Rennie was a graduate of Lithonia High School and Shorter College where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She worked as a Child Support Enforcement Agent for the State of Georgia for many years until her retirement. Rennie was a longtime member of Rock Chapel United Methodist Church until she and her husband moved to Comer. She enjoyed going to the beach, the mountains, festivals, fairs, and dining with her "Red Hat" friends. Music was important to her and she loved to sing. But nothing was as important to her as spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Perry Mitchell and Dorothy Louise Rennie Mitchell. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Caddis George Fulford; children, Norrie Fulford of Palm Coast, FL, George Fulford and his wife, Laurel, of Covington, GA, Casey Fulford of Comer,GA, John Fulford and his wife, Rachelle, of Comer, GA, and Diana Wallace and her husband, Rodney, of Guyton, GA; sisters, Nancy Scott of Tifton, GA and Peggy Phillips of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Robert Mitchell of Tifton, GA; grandchildren, Carlin, Ryan, Jared, Jacob, Caddis, Daniel, James, Geoff, Katie, Logen, Amanda, and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Sean, Corrinn, Greyson, Kamryn, Jayce, Esther, Abraham, Lucas, Austin, Cooper, and Ally; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 12 o'clock, Saturday, May 22, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
