She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Lee and Elsie Mae Dooley. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Boyd Hampton; sons, Tommy Lloyd Hampton and his wife, Donna, of Monticello, Rodney Lee Hampton and his wife, Trish, of Conyers, and Gregory Wayne Hampton of Covington; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, September 10, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Pastor Tanner Cline officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening 6 - 8.
