Born in Lithonia, GA to Ernest and Sara Pearson, he served his country in the U.S. Army and retired after 33 years service with Georgia Marble, Blue Circle and LaFarge. He is Survived by, mother of his children, Virginia B. Pearson; daughters, Robin and her husband, Danny Singleton of Temple, Julie and her husband Gunnery/Sgt James Kines of Indian Head, MD; sisters, Joyce Stewart of Oxford, Peggy Evans of Hayesville, NC,; brothers, Bud Pearson of Loganville, Richard Pearson of Griffin; 3 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 o'clock, Wednesday, December 21 at Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 -8 at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
