Ralph Eugene Hall, II, of Lithonia, Georgia passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at the age of 78. Born in Rome, Georgia on September 25, 1943, (Gene) was the son of Ralph Eugene Hall and Mary Ann Kerns Hall. He graduated from Lithonia High School in 1961, and then went on to graduate from University of Georgia in 1966 with a degree in Forestry. Ralph and Paulinda met at Lithonia High School and married August 20, 1966. He was a certified forester and arborist. He worked for Georgia Power Company in land management and other departments for over 30 years. Gene was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Paulinda King Hall; daughter, Rachel Leigh Medcalf and husband, Kevin; three grandchildren, William Medcalf, Olivia Perez and husband, Matteo, and Benjamin Medcalf; one sister, Susan Hall Burgess and husband, Jerry; many nieces, nephews and very good friends. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Wednesday, January 19, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Messner and Rev. Kevin Medcalf officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow at Rock Chapel Historic Cemetery.
