Service: 1 o'clock, Saturday, May 14, 2016 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 11:30 - 1 Saturday Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Rachel Pritchett, age 91, of Lithonia, died May 12, 2016. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lithonia, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Homer Pritchett; son, Joe Wheeler McEachern; granddaughter, Barbara Nichols; and parents, Anna Lou and Egbert Abbott. Surviving are daughters, Samantha Svensson of Conyers and Linda Robinson and her husband, Jim, of Baldwin; sisters, Vera Born of Stone Mountain and Gloria Jean Owens of Snellville; brother, Marron Abbott and his wife, Jo Ann of Lithonia; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock on Saturday, May 14 at the Lithonia chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin and Rev. Bob Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:30 - 1 prior to the service.
