A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he was known for his love of music, dancing, and having fun, leaving behind a legacy for the love of music to three generations. Quincy is preceded in death by his wives, Alyce Lugene Bowers and Lula McGraw Bowers, and brother, Kevin Bowers. Surviving are daughters, Jerryse Bowers - Tucker of Richmond, VA and Lorri Bowers of Atlanta; sons, Anthony Bowers and his wife, Cecile, of Loganville, and Quincy Bowers and his wife, Donna, of Pearlin, TX; brothers, Darrell Bowers and his wife, June, of Highpoint, NC and Allen Bowers and his wife, Cynthia, of Queens, NY; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, February 13, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 o'clock until service time.
