Phyllis Reagin Gable, age 83 of Oxford, died on October 1, 2024. She was born on March 12, 1941, in Lithonia, GA, to the late Aaron & Ada Mize Reagin. Phyllis was a beacon of generosity and love, embracing life with an open heart and open arms. She was a cherished member of the Highland Baptist Church in Conyers. Her family was her whole world- her children and grandchildren were the true joy of her life. Known for never meeting a stranger, Phyllis had an unmatched ability to make friends anywhere and a genuine love for people. Her life was a testament to her kind, caring, and generous nature. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Roy James Gable; son, Victor Hall; and siblings, Barbara Jackson, Gerald Reagin, and Warren Reagin. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Elaine Sears) Gable, Ken (Ramona) Hall, and Van Hall; brother, Mickey Reagin; grandchildren, Erica Wiest and Heather Chambers; 7 great-grandchildren, Logan, Natalie, Taylor, Madeline, Ella, Brayden, and Brooklynn; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
