Diane Cawthon, 72, of Clarkdale, Georgia, died July 18, 2024. She was born in Decatur, Georgia, to the late Jack and Ardith Cawthon in the spring of 1952. Her love for the arts and entertainment led her to a career as a stagehand at The Fox Theater, where she was privileged to work with a myriad of talented musicians and actors throughout the years. Diane's zest for life extended beyond the stage and was reflected in her hobbies of gardening, renovating houses and decorating. She was a beloved aunt, a cherished friend, and a respected colleague.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Debra Cawthon and Joan White; life partner, David Roberts. Survivors include her nieces, Carmen (Joshua Adams) White, Marlena (Alan Merritt) White; great-niece, Alora Adams; great-nephew, Aiden Adams; her adored fur babies, Little Bit, Dottie & Dahlia; special friend and caregiver, Paula Smallwood; as well as many social friends & neighbors.
