Service: 1 o'clock, Monday, May 14, 2018 Place: Lawnwood Memorial Park Patricia D. Cannon, age 87, of Gainesville, formerly of Conyers, died Friday, May 11, 2018. She was born in DeKalb County to parents, Wiley and Leottis Haynes Dudley. Patricia was a graduate of Decatur Girls High School and Southern School of Pharmacy. Her career as a pharmacist began in a privately owned 'Drug Store', she then worked at DeKalb General Hospital and later at the Georgia Mental Health Institute where she was the head pharmacist for many years. Pat was an individualist who loved to fly and earned her pilot's license in the "60's." Photography was another of her passions, particularly 8 mm movies. Family was very important to her, and she never missed a family reunion. A graveside service will be held, 1 o'clock, Monday, May 14, 2018 at Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating.
