Service: 1 o'clock, Saturday, March 18, 2017 Place: Prospect United Methodist Church, Covington Visitation: 11:30 - 1:00, Saturday, March 18, 2017 Place: Prospect United Methodist Church, Covington Nora Lee Wynn, age 92, of Covington, died March 15, 2017. She was an active member of Prospect United Methodist Church until health problems prevented her from attending. Nora Lee loved playing with her dog and working in her yard, flower garden, and vegetable garden. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be missed dearly by many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wynn, Sr.; sons, Teddy McDonald, Jr., Jerry Lee Braswell, and Mike Braswell; parents, Cleo and George Howard Smith, Sr.; and sisters, Audrey Smith and Betty Allen. Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Shelia Braswell of Madison; brother, George Howard Smith, Jr. of Florida; grandchildren, Josh Braswell and his wife, Samantha, of Conyers; Lisa McDonald of Florida, Chris Franklin and his wife, Melanie, of Covington, Heather Fuller and her husband, Danny, of Madison, and Brooke Korom and her husband, Kyle, of Winder; many great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock Saturday, March 18 at Prospect United Methodist Church in Covington with Rev. Lawrence Lockett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:30 - 1:00 at the church.
