Myrtle Alma Harris, age 90, of Oxford, died Saturday, August 16, 2014. She was retired from Lithonia Lighting and was a member of Water Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband of 72 years, Carl Harris, Sr. She is survived by sons, Carl and Laura Harris of Loganville, Lamar and Carole Harris of Lithonia; Daughter in law, Gloria Harris of Social Circle; Sister, Ella Perdue of Gainsville; Brother, Franklin W. Hicks of Centerville; God son Robert Harrison of Walnut Grove; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Henry Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8. Funeral will be held in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20 at 1 o'clock, with Reverends Everett Leavell and Virgil Barnard officiating.
