Morris Keith Payne, age 50, of Conyers, died June 2, 2021. He was born in Covington to Morris and Judy Payne and attended Rockdale County High School. Keith loved to fish as a young boy especially at Williams Lake. He loved his dogs, Belle and Dallas and spent many fond hours with them. Keith worked in the heating and air conditioning business for many years until his illness prevented him from continuing. He was loved by many people, had a great sense of humor and according to his sister, "he was a kind soul." He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Judy Payne; and sisters, Julie Payne and Teresa Payne Hicks. Surviving are his sister, Lisa Payne Page and her husband, Johnny, of Loganville; brother, Greg Payne of Conyers; nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Carrie Page, Joshua and Emily Hicks, Marli Page, Courtney and Danny Sands, Hannah and Andy Hall, and Sarah Payne; great nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Holley, Aidan, Lilly, Asher, Zeke, Liam, Harper, Lydia, Noah, Jaxson, Haven, and Layla. A special thanks to Keith's Aunt Linda Lanier for her continued love, care and support. A funeral service will be held 12 o'clock, Monday, June 7, 2021 at Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Brock officiating. Scott Lanier, Andy Hall, Danny Sands, Jeremy Page, Joshua Hicks, and Kelly Kitchens will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Conyers. The family will receive friends from 10:30-12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
