Mildred Speaks, age 82, of Douglasville, died August 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Forest Speaks, Jr. Surviving are her sisters, Curliss Strickland, Bobbie Mae Finley and her husband Arland, Carol (Diane) Foster of Anderson, SC, and Jean Miller and her husband Michael of Suwanee, GA; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Thursday, August 28, at Henry Funeral Home, Social Circle, with Rev. Reese Sanders officiating.
