Robert Michael Cox, age 67, of Covington, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Born in Atlanta to John Paul and Annie Kate Cox; he was a graduate of Walker High School; served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps; and worked as a systems technician for Lucent Technologies. Mike enjoyed fishing and fellowshipping with friends. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his dogs, Will and Speedy. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Howell Cox; daughters, Traci Parsons and her husband, Michael, of Braselton, Shanna Borders and her husband, Eric, of Braselton, Kristy Corbett-Von Kalben and fiance, Matt, of Braselton; son, Devon Corbett and his wife, Carrie, of Braselton; brother, John Cox and his wife, Joanne, of Monroe; grandchildren, Austin Roberts, Jackson Parsons, Conner Parsons, Tavye Borders, Rylan Borders, Emry Borders, Cooper Corbett, Annabelle Corbett, and Macie Von Kalben ; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock, Monday, April 1, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
