Melinda Ullrich Lunsford, age 69, of Conyers, died September 12, 2022. She was born in Atlanta to Mary Seabolt and Louis Ullrich, and was a graduate of East Atlanta High School. Melinda and her husband were members of the DeKalb United Pentecostal Church. She loved playing cards (especially canasta), traveling, sending greeting cards to family members and friends, attending her church. Melinda loved making her banana pudding for church get-togethers and then there was her delicious turkey and dressing that would be enjoyed at Christmas. She also was a very caring person, especially to her nieces and nephews. Melinda is survived by her husband of almost 46 years, Michael Durward Lunsford, of Conyers; sister, Bonnie Ellie Schwarz and her husband, Dr. Kenneth Schwarz of Fort Pierce, Florida; brother, Louis Ralph Ullrich of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Myron Wideman, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
