Maxine McBrayer Thomas, age 82, of Conyers, died September 6, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary McBrayer and retired from the Federal Government after 22 years service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Merrill; daughters, Cathy Bishop of Locust Grove, Paula Kidd of Conyers; son, Wayne Thomas and his wife Michelle of Ranger, GA ; sisters, Imogene Keaton of Mableton, Martha Puckett of Bremen; brothers, Dr.Terrell McBrayer of Bremen, Van McBrayer of Buchanan, Dr. Danny McBrayer of Marietta, and Jerry McBrayer of Bremen; eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock Saturday, September 12, in the chapel of Henry Funeral, with Dr. Terrell McBrayer officiating.
