Mary Nell Garner, 91, of Conyers and formerly of Redan, died October 13, 2014. Born in Morgan County, Georgia, to Claudine Herndon and Usher Alvin Richardson, Mrs. Garner was a retired secretary for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department. She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Bogan of Mansfield, Terri Garner and Lane Prince bother of Conyers; sister, Imogene McHugh of Madison; brother, Usher A. Richardson, Jr., of Madison; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be he 11 o'clock, Thursday, October 16, at First Baptist Church of Lithonia. Mrs. Garner will lie in repose beginning one half hour prior to the service. Rev. Ed Salter and Rev Robert Lindsay will officiate and burial will follow at Redan Cemetery.
