Obituary

Mary Ann Spearman Burroughs, age 77, of Conyers, Georgia passed away January 27, 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Mary Ann was born February 2, 1946, in Covington, Georgia and was known for her compassionate nature, her funny sense of humor, and her thoughtful demeanor. She dedicated many years of her life to the healthcare industry, working in the surgical unit at Rockdale Hospital before her retirement. Mary Ann's love for life was infectious. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and friend who would not hesitate to lend a helping hand. Her love also extended to her pets, most notably her beloved "Puppy". Her hobbies included shopping, cooking, and gardening, but her greatest joy came from taking care of her family and her animals. She had a unique ability to make people laugh and feel at ease in her company. Mary Ann also loved to sit on her porch on cool summer evenings, watching the hummingbirds and admiring the beautiful flowers. She lived well, touching many lives with her kindness and love. Until we meet again...
