Martha Morgan

Martha Morgan, age 81 of formerly of Lithonia, died February 1, 2022, at the home of her great niece, Jessica, in Cleveland, Georgia. She was born in Lithonia, Georgia to Thomas Chalmers Morgan and Lula Mae Humphries Morgan. Martha was a very loving person and a gentle soul who always had her arms open wide for her family. When you met her, you loved her because that is who she was, always using a gentle touch that was heartwarming. Martha was a true southern belle and was loved by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Kate Brantley and Lula Mae Spain; and brother, Thomas Spain. She is survived by her brother, Curtis Morgan and his wife, Brenda, of Conyers; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Thursday, February 3, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. The interment will follow at Milstead Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:00 pm prior to the service.
