Marie Collins, age 93, of Conyers, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019. She was a "people person", who enjoyed spending time with others, going out to eat, and in her earlier years, dancing. Marie was a faithful member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Rutledge for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lusell Wallenhaupt and second husband, Jack Collins; son, Smokey Wallenhaupt; and daughter, Sue Jackson. Surviving are her son, Barry Wallenhaupt and his wife, Cheryl, of Conyers; and daughter, Kathy White of Conyers;6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, March 30, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Chambers officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:00 prior to the service.
