Service: 3 o'clock, Sunday, July 23, 2017 Place: Smyrna Presbyterian Church, 2920 Hwy 212 SW, Conyers, GA 30094 Visitation: 1:30 - 3:00 prior to the service Place: Smyrna Presbyterian Church James Lyle Young, age 81, of Conyers, died July 21, 2017. Mr. Young retired from Lithonia Lighting with 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Roy and Virginia Young, and sister, Ruth Housworth. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Edna Young; daughter, Stacy Young Holland and her husband, Brad, of Monroe; son, Timothy Lyle Young of Conyers; brother, Ralph Young; grandchild, Ansley Virginia Holland. A funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday, July 23 at Smyrna Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kenneth Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends 1:30 - 3:00 at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Lyle's memory to the Lions Club of Conyers, 3305 Daniels Bridge Road SW, Conyers, GA 30094.
