Louise Chewning Reagin, age 82, of Lithonia, died September 14, 2016. A lifelong resident of Lithonia and member of Rockland United Methodist Church, she loved her dogs, the beach, sewing, and reading. She instilled her love of reading in her children. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Glen Reagin, parents, Olan and Myrtle Chewning, sister, Elizabeth Worthy, and sister in law, Joann Chewning. Surviving are daughters, Andrea Williams of Lithonia, and Lynn Gentry and her husband, Tommy, of Alpharetta; son, Clyde Reagin of McCaysville; grandchildren, Amy Reagin Ford, Christoffer Gentry, Maggie Gentry, Laura Reagin, Rheanna Lowery, Kelly Reagin, and Michael Lee; great grandchildren, Presleigh Lowery, Jackson Ford, and Catherine Ford; brother, Gene Chewning of New Mexico; brother in law, Jack Worthy of Blue Ridge; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:30 o'clock, Sunday, September 18, at Rockland United Methodist Church with Rev. Deanna Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Rockland United Methodist Church (6747 Rockland Road, Lithonia, GA 30038).
