Lisa Kay Nix, age 61, of Stockbridge, GA, formerly of Lithonia, passed away July 7, 2021, surrounded by family. Lisa was a graduate of Lithonia High School, class of 1978. Nanny (Nanna), as she was lovingly called by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, took pride in her family. Lisa was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. She loved horror movies, family gatherings and Christmas time. Lisa was famous for her homemade biscuits and sour cream and coconut cake. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Johnny Ray Nix; grandson, Maddox Landon Starnes; mother and father, Sara and J.L. Clark; and brother, Robert Clark. Lisa is survived by her children, Lisa Maria Starnes and her husband, Clint, of Cleveland, GA, Linda Kristie Smith and her fiance, Sandra, of Locust Grove, GA; Travis Ray Nix and his fiance, Katie, of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Jaden and Avery Starnes, Morgan Fillmore, Lauren Wallace, Cole Slaton; several great grandchildren; siblings, Rhonda Williams Crowe, Amy Exum, Johnny and Tim Clark. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 pm, Friday, July 16 at the River's Ranch in Jackson, GA, for all who would like to join us.
