Linda Bentley Scott, age 76, of Covington, died April 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by parents, Betty and I.V. Bentley, and husband, Thomas L. "Tommy" Scott, Sr., Esq. Surviving are children, Tommy Scott and wife, Maggie, of Orem, UT, Randy Scott and wife, Debbie, of Conyers, Bryan Scott of Conyers, Ben Scott and wife, Shana, of Loganville, Don Whitlow and wife, Nancy, of Locust Grove, and Linda Bazemore of Jefferson ; sister, Betty Sue Howell and husband, Ernest of Covington; brother, Joey Bentley of Covington; grandchildren, Mindy Scott Tolbert and husband, John, Amber Scott Jones and husband, Matt, Tommy Scott and wife, Julia, Gracie Scott, Stephanie House Beard and husband, John, Jessica House Hayes and husband, Jason, Chelsie House, Abigail House, Justin House, Randy Scott, Jr. and wife, Katie, Jack Scott, Logan Scott, Jeff Bazemore, Damon Whitlow, and wife, Stacy, Charlie Whitlow Steedley, and Diana Hester Rogers and husband, Tim ; great grandchildren, Lorelei Tolbert, John Henry "JJ" Tolbert, Jackson Tolbert, Courtney Pocket, Ryan Whitlow, Casey Whitlow, Sophie Whitlow, Madeline Steedley, Cain Steedley, Halie Rogers, and Brantley Rogers; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Friday, April 18, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia, with Rev. Winston Menzies officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Chapel Cemetery.
