Lewis Spivey Robertson, age 86, of Lithonia, Georgia, died on April 10, 2024. He was born in Lithonia, Georgia on December 1, 1937, to the late James Homer and Katie Lou Shumate Robertson. Lewis was a beacon of joy, his face always adorned with a heartwarming smile. His loving nature brought warmth and comfort to his family, whose company he cherished. Lewis loved dogs, watching westerns, backyard swinging and frequent visits to the Waffle House. He was a longtime member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Lithonia. In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by all of his siblings: Thomas Robertson, Marvin Robertson, Betty Jean Robertson, Ethel Dobbs, Roselle Bowers, Gladys Warbington. Survivors include his niece and nephews, Judy Dobbs, Mike Morris, Donald Dobbs, Rodney Robertson; many extended family members. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Monday, April 15, 2024, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3420 Panola Road, Lithonia, GA, with remains placed in state at 12 Noon. Pastor Ryan Parr will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 14, from 4-6 PM, at Henry Funeral Home, 6833 Church St., Lithonia, GA.
