Leila Anne Stout, age 60, of Conyers, died January 17, 2022. She was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Brenda Jean Leftwich Hall and John Wesley Hall, Sr. Her family moved to Georgia while she was young and she was a graduate of Rockdale County High School in 1979. Leila was in restaurant management at Pizza Hut for many years until she became disabled. She was a very caring person who often took in stray children of Milstead. Leila always lived life on her terms. Any time you needed someone to talk to, she was there to listen. Leila was not known for being a wonderful cook, but she made the best meatloaf in Rockdale County! She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Clint Crawford. Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Gary Stout of Conyers; daughter, Tina Kell of Conyers; brothers, Michael David Hall of Conyers, John Wesley Hall, Jr. and his wife, Stacia, of Monticello and Edwin O'brian Turner of Conyers; five granddaughters, Summer, Alyssa, Mikayla, Sophia, and Riley; and all the stray children in Milstead. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, January 23, in the Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with her brother Michael Hall officiating. The Interment will follow at East Lithonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4pm Saturday afternoon at Henry Funeral Home.
