Lee Russell Mitchum, age 85, of Jackson, GA, formerly of Charleston, SC, died Thursday, May 30, 2019. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and worked for many years as a fireman at the Charleston, SC, Naval Base. Russell was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Frederico and stepdaughter, Donna Riddle. Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years, Barbara Anne Mitchum; daughters, Birdie Clark and Connie Hall and her husband, Jullian; son, Rusty Mitchum and his wife, Denise; stepchildren, Randy Woodham and his wife, Susan, Franklin Woodham and Jonathan Woodham and his wife, Mandy, Cindy Whitaker, Marion W. Little, Shaun Woodham, and Sharon Osborne; 24 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 o'clock, Monday, June 3, at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, with Monsignor Henry Gracz as celebrant. family will receive friends 11 o'clock - 12 noon, Monday, June 3, at Henry Funeral Home.
